Ephesians 6:13 "... that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
Matthew 24:37 "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be."

Mission

Aone point, after speaking with His disciples about the end of the age and the Second Coming, Jesus seems to acknowledge the long journey that lay ahead, and encourages His followers not to lose heart, because one day, in the end, God would indeed finally avenge His own elect who “cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them.”  But as Jesus again foresaw those final days, and seeing the passing of years, He then asks “Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” (Luke 18:1-8).

Any Christian can attest to the difficult road along which the believer travels.  There are times when we feel closeness with God and experience powerful moments of worship, but there are also times when we enter seasons where that closeness seems to fade, and we as believers begin to struggle as we face trials that at times may feel are beyond what we can endure.  Sometimes we even become prodigals, as tragedy, hardship, and circumstance push us further and further from the road of faith that we once traveled.  I know I have experienced these seasons.

Lately however, I have become more and more convinced that we are running out of time to be prodigals, and that with each passing day the critical nature of the time within which we live grows ever more apparent.

During the Covid-19 pandemic years, we were locked down, isolated, removed from the workplace and kept from our churches.  Yet, as the months passed, and life slowed, I realized that I was observing things that I might not have discovered in prior seasons.

I had seen brief news stories regarding things like locust outbreaks and drought but the extent of these things never really registered.  With the appearance of Covid-19, and the ensuing global lockdowns, we were suddenly faced with a generationally defining event.  And then, literally in the midst of the pandemic, we witnessed the U.S. government shockingly declare the UFO phenomena a serious national security issue.   Coincident with this, a group of world elites announced that that were going to ‘reset’ the world by 2030 such that we as individuals would ‘own nothing and like it’; then we saw a Chinese social credit system—which is used by that country’s ruling class to control the population—make serious inroads into the west; discovered that thousands of Swedish citizens had voluntarily allowed microchips to be implanted in their hands; and then observed NASA launch a mission to test its ability to save mankind from an asteroid impact.  It just went on and on.

With each new topic I would grow more and more astonished…and soon realized that we were suddenly seeing the intersection of multiple global events that appeared Biblical in nature.

In the late 1990s I traveled to the traditional site of Mt Sinai in the Sinai Peninsula. With other travelers I would spend the night in the courtyard of the small chapel located at the top of the mountain, and together we watched the sun rise over the Gulf of Aqaba. It was a memorable experience…but in time I would learn that I was not actually at the mountain of Moses. Eventually I discovered that the actual site is most likely across the Red Sea in Saudi Arabia. This has become accepted to the point that Exodus themed tours are now available of that region. During the pandemic I would fill my spare time looking into topics like the finding of the real location of Mt Sinai, and as part of this discovered the work of Ron Wyatt. It turns out it was Ron who did the initial exploration and advanced the theory that Saudi Arabia was actually the site of the Ten Commandments. But his work did not end here, as I learned that before this, he spent long years in Turkey investigating the site of Noah’s Ark. And I was amazed that he appeared to be successful, because Turkey went so far as to certify the location of the Ark in 1987.

I found it astonishing that we may actually have discovered the remains of Noah’s Ark in our day.

As lockdowns continued, I spent more and more time researching topics—like the work of Ron Wyatt—that in prior days I might have had little interest in.  I began to see that milestones were passing by with increasing rapidity, and within multiple threads, that are leading us to a future which, for the first time in history, is perfectly aligning with the Book of Revelation.  Repeatedly I would discover things that confirmed that the events of our time fit into the overarching theme that time is short…and the End Times are now.

In the fall of 2021, I began to get interested in writing down my observations.  My intention was just to share this with people I knew, some of whom were still trying to emerge from their own season of trials.  In time I began to consider that I might also put this work out in the form of a blog.  The goal was simply to examine recent events to try and help people understand the Biblical implications of what has transpired, and the urgency of the times within which we live.

Hopefully the topics covered here will be a jumping off point for people to do their own homework and make their own decisions regarding the prophetic milestones passing by with greater and greater frequency.  In addition, perhaps this will give individuals motivation to really take a hard look at where they are in their walk with Christ and revisit what they believe.  In my view, we have now reached the time to consider very carefully our individual roles in these last days.

It may be that a journey through recent events may also be of interest to non-Christians.  I hope there are those who are starting to see that there are disturbing trends in the world, and perhaps, if they discover this blog and begin reading some of the analysis, they will have eyes to see that things are eerily beginning to align with prophetic statements made in the Bible…and especially with the Book of Revelation.  And perhaps that will lead them to a promise of great hope:

Romans 10:9 “…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved

There is a myriad of signs that have occurred to date, which are also continuing to occur.  But repeatedly I return to the image of the remains of a massive ship located in the Turkish Mountains of Ararat that have been discovered in our time…and recall this incredible sign in terms of Jesus instruction to His disciples, that in the last days it would be just “as in the days of Noah” (Matthew 24:37).

It is my hope that there are those currently standing ‘outside the ark’ that might begin to see the prophetic nature of current events, and awaken from their slumber.

Since I became a Christian, I have long focused on one verse in the Bible.  It is in fact the reason I named this site ‘Six Thirteen Days’:

Ephesians 6:13 “…that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

It is time to for each of us to come home from our journeys, because we are racing towards a fast-approaching future in which all things warned by Jesus are about to come to pass.  As just another ‘watchman on the wall’ I felt led to write down what I learned during the pandemic, and also record what I discovered regarding the time leading up to this, along with observations on what might be coming next.

Presented here are the results of this endeavor. I hope you find it of use.
